There’s one major story in the weather this week… and it’s Old Man Winter’s visit to a broad region of New England. This brings fairly decent accumulating snow in NW NJ/Poconos, Catskills, Adirondacks, and finally the Green and White mountains before pushing through Maine.

A fair amount of heavy, wet snow is expected. This will be less than a 10:1 ratio and could become problematic for utilities.

Beyond Tuesday, we remain seasonably cool for a couple days before we start building in some more warmth over the weekend. We could have a few weak impulses of energy come in during the week (Thursday night and Sunday morning), but they’ll be fairly quiet. Next week looks to start off on the mild side as some warmer air begins to shift into the east.
