We have our first major snow of the season for the east as a low pressure rides along the stalled front that moves through tonight for Sunday River, Shawnee Peak, and Sugarloaf.
While we’re still waiting for our first major snow, this will have to do to get us through Christmas week (although there are some other storms to come before Christmas).
No real mixing concerns for our resorts with this system. While Sugarloaf doesn’t really get in the good banding, they’ll have better snow to liquid ratios, which will likely bring snowfall totals to all 3 resorts of 6-10″ – though Sunday River and Shawnee will likely win out with a little more accumulation.
Not as much snow action for Boyne Highlands, but the cold is in place!
