Wishing you, your families and your teams a very Happy Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for our continued work together in this season.

It’s a dreary day… and good for comfort food and family.
The warmth stays with us through Friday and we’ll start to see some cool downs going into Friday night and Saturday. The core of the cold air will come in early Saturday evening, though it does move out quickly Sunday morning. There will be short windows for snowmaking with this cool down for mid to upper levels.
Sunday and Monday will be a wash with warm air – and we’ll truly have a wash Monday night into Tuesday with heavy rain and high wind. The storm is coming into a little more alignment 11/30-12/2 as a low cuts off from the overall atmospheric pattern. This will create a stall in the weather pattern; however it should go in our favor after 12/2 – even for areas outside of New England. There may be some ebbs and flows to the cold, but it looks like this will be our first prolonged cold period of the season. Snowmaking windows look to open 12/3 at the latest. We’ll touch on this more tomorrow in our Long Term Views blog tomorrow.
